PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — Pflugerville ISD will soon have a new career and technical center for its students to gain invaluable skills.

On Tuesday morning, crews broke ground on the new facility that will be located at 4801 Killingsworth Lane.

The new facility will offer training for specialties such as health science, automotive technology, culinary arts and engineering. It will also have labs for industry certifications and a resource center to help students plans for college or careers.

Superintendent Dr. Quintin Shepherd said the facility represents a major commitment to preparing students for high-demand jobs.
