LOS ANGELES — Singer D4vd is being viewed by investigators as a suspect in the whose decomposed remains were discovered in his Tesla in September, according to reports citing law enforcement sources with direct knowledge of the investigation.

Sources told and NBC4 Los Angeles that investigators are now looking at the 20-year-old musician, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, as a suspect in what they are treating as an apparent homicide. The medical examiner has not yet determined a cause or manner of death and is awaiting toxicology results, sources said.

that police believe Rivas' death likely occurred in the spring and that D4vd likely had help in dismembering and disposing of the body. The source said the singer has not been cooperative in the investigation.
