Why do we bother electing MPs? No, really. The “uniparty” supports the disastrous Mark Carney budget then lies about it. So why have a Parliament? Why not just elect a man on horseback every four years or so if he lets us? Or did we?

So what did we send them there for?
Avi Lewis, a rising brown dwarf in the NDP, railed: “I’m with the majority of the NDP caucus who voted against this austerity budget that would have made Stephen Harper smile, a gusher of corporate welfare and weapons spending.”
