“I don’t open my mouth about street [expletive] ... But you do something dirty like that?”

William Greene shook his head from the witness stand in denial Tuesday morning. He was testifying in the trial against the man accused of killing 43-year-old Dewayne Brown in Harrisburg had in April 2024.

“They beat that boy for nothing,” Greene said. “He was drunk, he was defenseless.”

Greene took the stand and repeatedly identified Erick Boone, the 29-year-old defendant, as the man who needlessly shot and killed Brown the night of April 17 inside the USA Fried Chicken store on the 1200 block of Derry Street in Allison Hill.

Prosecutors say Boone and Marcus Stultz beat up and then robbed Brown inside the restaurant that night, before Boone followed him and drilled two bullets into his head at
