SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The Monson Police Department will have a strong presence at the town’s high school Wednesday after a comment was overheard at the school on Tuesday.

At this time, police have not shared the nature of this comment, and stated that they do not have evidence that leads them to believe that this is a credible threat.

However, there will be additional police presence out of an abundance of caution.
