BLOOMINGTON ( 25News Now ) - A social justice musical group made up of five bands, called ‘Musicos Por Justicia’, will be performing at The Bistro in Downtown Bloomington on Wednesday to raise funds for a local food pantry.
Musicos Por Justicia, which means Musicians for Justice, is a collective dedicated to using music, culture, and community power to lift up working families. It is teaming up with WYSE food pantry, which has struggled to keep up with community need even after the government shutdown temporarily cut SNAP benefits for many families in need.
