GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is still looking into the Summer Wells case more than four years after she was reported missing from her Hawkins County home.
Summer was reported missing around 6:30 p.m. on June 15, 2021 from her Hawkins County home, eventually becoming the subject of an AMBER Alert across Tennessee, which is still active.
A TBI spokesperson confirmed to WVLT News that agents are still working alongside the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI to investigate Summer’s disappearance.
