NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Authorities are searching for teens accused of scamming multiple people.
They have reportedly targeted shoppers at Nashville West Shopping Center.
Among the alleged victims was Keisha Pyle.
“I hate this happened going into the holidays, but it’s sad kids don’t have anything better to do than to be out at 7 p.m., stealing from people who are just trying to help them,” Pyle explained.
The teen reportedly asked her to donate to their basketball team based in Memphis.
She opted to use tap-to-pay, and during that time, they allegedly sent themselves $1,000 and ran off.
“It’s sad. I’m definitely now untrusting of anyone. I wouldn’t have imagined that a teenage kid would have done that. I’m always the first to give to somebody, I’m very familiar with hard times,” s
