9 puppies and 3 dogs rescued from house fire in Wittmann

WITTMANN, Ariz. — Multiple dogs, including nine puppies, were rescued from a house fire in Wittmann, authorities said.

The Surprise Fire Department assisted crews with the Arizona Fire and Medical Authority in battling a house fire in Wittman. Surprise fire said a total of 12 dogs, nine of which were puppies, were rescued from the home.

All dogs survived and are doing well, Surprise fire said.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and no other injuries were reported.
