England are going hell-for-leather and have picked both injury-prone quicks Jofra Archer and Mark Wood for the first Test of the Ashes in Perth.

But Aussie quick Mitchell Starc has already questioned the experience in England’s pace attack as questions remain over whether they can bowl fast for a full series in gruelling conditions.

The rapid-quick bowlers have been named in a 12-man England squad that includes fellow bowlers Gus Atkinson and Brydon Carse.

Off-spinner Shoaib Bashir has been named, but there is still a chance England load up with four fast bowlers, as well as captain and all-rounder Ben Stokes.
