Sir Keir Starmer has spoken out after it was revealed the inflation rate has fallen for the first time since March.
The Prime Minister reiterated Chancellor Rachel Reeves' comments on inflation, after the Office for National Statistics (ONS) highlighted inflation has dropped to 3.6 per cent in the year to October.
It is believed the drop has been driven by slower rises in energy prices, but the rate at which food costs are rising is still increasing, the BBC reported.
The statistics are also still well above the Bank of England's two per cent target.
