Pankaj Tripathi is stepping into a new role with Perfect Family, becoming a producer for the first time as the series prepares to launch on YouTube under a structured pay model, a first for long-format storytelling in India. The dramedy will debut on November 27 on the JAR Series YouTube channel.
Backed by Ajay Rai of JAR Pictures and Mohit Chhabra, the eight-episode show is directed by Sachin Pathak and created by Palak Bhambri. It arrives at a moment when digital platforms are experimenting with alternative release models, following earlier attempts like Sitare Zameen Par, which chose a direct YouTube release after its theatrical run.
