The concept of self-care is intentionally taking actions to improve your mental, emotional, or physical wellbeing. It looks different for everyone.

While some people may find it easy to practice self-care, others may avoid it because they feel guilty. Perhaps it isn't a "productive enough" activity, or they confuse self-care with over-indulging.

There are a million possible justifications — but at the end of the day, not practicing self-care is a choice.
