Police have named the cyclist who died following a collision on the A46. Police and paramedics raced to the scene on the southbound A46 between Leaf Lane and Stoneleigh last week.

Medics tried to save the man, but sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene on Tuesday night (November 11). Now Warwickshire Police has confirmed that the man was 55-year-old Israr Hussain from Coventry .

His next of kin has been informed. Now officers are trying to piece together the moments before Mr Hussain was found seriously injured on the southbound carriageway at around 9.20pm. Investigations have revealed that hundreds of vehicles passed in the area in the timeframe where he was found.

The force has written to all of the registered keepers of the vehicles, asking them key questions. Inspector Mic
