The US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) has released its 2025 annual report, citing Babri Masjid, PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and the RSS, and raising allegations ranging from religious policies to changes in school textbooks.

The Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti slammed the report, with Swami Jitendranand Saraswati calling it,

A grave insult to India’s inclusive heritage, sovereignty and constitutional guarantees.

Notably, Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, involved in the Ram Temple case, added that while many mosques were built over temples, evidence of the original structures remains, and warned the report risks increasing tensions without understanding India’s justice system.
