WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - We’re just over a week away from Thanksgiving and the organizers of a free community need your help making sure everyone can celebrate the holiday.
The meal at Bethel Life Center in Wichita serves hundreds of people each year. It’s free for anyone to attend, but this year volunteers are needed.
You can volunteer from 3-5:30 p.m. on Tuesday and on Thanksgiving Day from 3-5:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to help with meal preparation, serving and cleanup.
Cheri Lankford is the director of Hope Wichita. She said the meal is open to anyone.
