Surat witnessed a tragic incident on Sunday morning when a 24-year-old woman from Ahmedabad suddenly collapsed during a college programme, ultimately losing her life. The shocking moment was captured on CCTV, which later circulated widely on social media, sparking grief and concern.

The deceased has been identified as Zeel Thakkar, originally from the Raipur area of Ahmedabad. The unfortunate event occurred while she was addressing an audience at Dharukawala College in Kapodra, where she was part of a programme organized by her company. Zeel, employed at an IT firm, had traveled from Ahmedabad to Surat to participate in the event.
