Light rain in southern New Jersey and some snow mixing with rain at higher elevations in the northwest part of the state will linger through Monday morning.
Any snow accumulations will be light, limited to a coating up to two-tenths of an inch mainly at higher elevations in northwestern New Jersey, the National Weather Service said.
Skies will clear this afternoon with high temperatures in the 40s to low 50s. North to northeast winds will remain light at 5 to 8 mph.
High pressure builds into the region Wednesday night and remains in control through Thursday, bringing dry conditions and partly cloudy skies.
Temperatures Thursday will run a few degrees below normal, with highs in the mid to upper 40s across northern areas and low to mid 50s along the Jersey Shore.
