CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - The City of Carbondale is looking for a new fire chief.

City leaders said the new chief would not only lead the city’s fire department, but also emergency management operations.

The fire chief will oversee all departmental activities, including fire suppression, emergency medical services and public education.

The salary ranges from $118,000 to $128,000, with benefits.
