It’s mid-afternoon on a lazy day, a day when I’ve already been to the hospital to visit a patient, a day when I’ve had lunch and worked in the post office at Wesley Commons, boxing what little mail came.
I had the opportunity to take a little nap, and I took advantage of that unscheduled time! Now I watch the newspaper delivery person toss out tomorrow morning’s paper in my driveway and wonder what I’ll find in those pages.
Tonight is a night for pinochle with other residents, and I do enjoy that game! Outside my window, a light breeze is waving the large elephant ears around in a dance, and the cardinals feed at the cylinder feeder.
