After making his NFL debut in relief of an injured Dillon Gabriel in Week 11, Shedeur Sanders will get his long-awaited first start as a pro on Sunday.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced that Shedeur Sanders would start Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

The two-time NFL Coach of the Year stated that Dillon Gabriel remains in concussion protocol, although he is “improving.”

Sanders relieved Gabriel in the Browns’ Week 11 home game against the Baltimore Ravens, a 23-16 victory for Lamar Jackson’s squad. Sanders had a tough outing in his NFL debut, completing only four of 16 pass attempts for 47 yards and an interception.
