Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra on Wednesday shared an old photo of the arrest of Bangladesh's former election commissioner. She wrote along with it - 'This is going to happen here too.' Her hint was towards Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar.

In fact, all opposition parties, including TMC, are opposing the SIR process in the voter list being conducted by the Election Commission. Additionally, Congress and I.N.D.I Alliance parties have called the Election Commission and CEC Kumar the “B team” of the Modi government and have also accused them of stealing votes with the BJP.
