Winnipeg’s Executive Policy Committee (EPC) met on Tuesday to debate a new five-year parking and mobility plan, following earlier committee approval of the strategy designed to reshape how curbside space is managed across Winnipeg.

The Winnipeg Parking and Mobility Strategy, drafted by the Winnipeg Parking Authority (WPA), outlines a broad overhaul of how the city handles parking, curbside uses, vehicle-for-hire operations and emerging mobility services. The document ties parking policies to major planning frameworks such as Transportation 2050, OurWinnipeg 2045 and CentrePlan 2050.
