LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
A man has been indicted for a fatal stabbing that happened back in southwest Louisville.
Louisville Metro Police said 34-year-old Antoine Simmons is facing a count of murder for a stabbing Aug. 28 on Johnsontown Way, which is near the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood.
After the stabbing, police told WLKY the victim, 34-year-old Michael Ellery Jr., had multiple wounds. He died at the hospital.

LMPD said Simmons was taken into custody on Tuesday and is now at LMDC on a murder charge and other unrelated charges.
