French all-sports radio network BPM Sports is being sold to Quebec’s Arsenal Media, the company announced on Wednesday .

BPM Sports, which has stations in Montreal (91.9 FM), Quebec City (100.9 FM) and Gatineau (96.5 FM), is currently owned by RNC Média, which also owns CHOI Radio X in Quebec City and Rythme FM in Gatineau, along with four TV stations in Gatineau and Abitibi.

The purchase price for the stations was not disclosed, but Arsenal president and owner Sylvain Chamberland said in an interview with the radio network that it was more than the price of Canadiens forward Jake Evans’s contract ($2.85 million a year) but less than it would cost for a quality second-line centre.
