MUSKEGON, MI – Prosecutors have charged a 42-year-old man with open murder for allegedly killing two women in Muskegon Heights hours apart.
Deangelo Lonell Aubrey expressed little emotion on Wednesday as a Muskegon County judge read over the two counts.
Aubrey was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 18, for the deaths of Shelenthia Willis and Sasha Spears. Both women were killed on Monday in separate locations.
Muskegon Heights police said Spears was found about 2:40 p.m. Monday at a residence in the 2300 block of Hoyt Street. A relative found the injured woman and called 911. Spears suffered severe injuries and died at the scene.
Police took a call around 4 p.m. that day regarding a missing woman.
