For the second time in nine days, parts of New Jersey got a light coating of snow from a weak storm system.

Accumulating snow was confined to three counties and ranged from one-tenth of an inch to seven-tenths of an inch, according to data from the National Weather Service and the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail & Snow Network .

Several towns reported a trace of snow, which is basically flurries that don’t amount to one-tenth of an inch on the ground.

New Jersey’s first snowfall of the fall season occurred on Nov. 11, leaving a light dusting in several counties and two areas reporting at least 1 inch of snow .

Morris County

Schooleys Mountain — 0.4 inches

Mine Hill — 0.4 inches

Jefferson — 0.3 inches

Denville — 0.3
