Castleton working to keep budget low for next year

CASTLETON — The new budget is in its early stages, but right now taxpayers are looking at a possible 4.6% increase over last year.

Town Manager Mike Jones said Tuesday that he has presented the select board with a draft budget that still needs a few pieces of information to be complete.
