A stalker who carried out a horrifying campaign of harassment has been handed a lifetime restraining order. Police said Thomas McGinn often left threatening voicemails and even contacted a relative of the victim and turned up to places he knew she would be.
He created numerous fake social media profiles to harass her, sent unwanted gifts and cash transfers and bombarded his victim with up to 100 calls a day.
He also sent the victim distressing images of himself self-harming and refused to seek help or stop until she went to his home, CoventryLive reports.
Months of harassment came to an end when his victim, who was not identified, bravely told the police. McGinn, 33, was arrested in March this year.
