A stalker who called a woman up to 100 times a day from withheld numbers and turned up to places he knew she would be has been jailed.

Thomas McGinn left threatening voicemails, contacted his victim's relative and created fake social media profiles to harass her.

McGinn also sent unwanted gifts, cash transfers and followed her.

Finally, McGinn sent the victim distressing images of himself self-harming and refused to seek help or stop until she attended his address.

The 33-year-old, from Stratford-upon-Avon, was arrested in March after she contacted Warwickshire Police and disclosed that she had been subjected to coercive and controlling behaviour for months.
