A teenager from Afghanistan has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for purchasing assault rifles in Oklahoma to carry out a terrorist attack last November on Election Day.
Abdullah Haji Zada and his brother-in-law, Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi , were arrested on Oct. 7, 2024, at a rural Oklahoma location after purchasing two AK-47 rifles and 500 rounds of ammunition during an undercover FBI operation.
