WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A Scott City man faces five years in federal prison for trafficking guns into Connecticut.

The U.S. Department of Justice said that 48-year-old Brian Baker also faces three years of supervised release following his prison sentence for crimes connected with an expanded investigation going back to 2023.

Citing court documents and statements made in court in May 2023, the Justice Department said that members of the FBI Waterbury Safe Streets Task Force in Connecticut conducted three controlled purchases of a total of nine firearms and one controlled purchase of cocaine from a Waterbury man named Luis Perez.
