PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The first modular homes arrived Wednesday at the Skyview high-ground community, marking a new step in Perry County’s flood recovery efforts.

Two modular homes were delivered as part of the governor’s modular housing initiative, with six more scheduled to arrive during the next four days. The factory-built homes can be installed faster and more affordably than traditional stick-built houses, helping families move out of flood-prone areas sooner.
