Waverly Rotary Club members volunteered for the United Way Nov. 17 at Embassy Fellowship Church to help distribute Thanksgiving food bundles and other food bank items to those in need.

The 150 bundles this year were an increase over last year’s 100, noted Jill Krall, executive director of the Waverly-Shell Rock Area United Way.

“Families are struggling right now with food and a lot of things,” she said.
