FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A long-standing business in Fresno is breaking ground on a major expansion, aiming to boost business in the Central Valley.
"I think it's a commitment that says that Fresno is worthy of investing in, and it's also a commitment to our economy," said Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer.
He and other local leaders gathered to celebrate Coast Aluminum Inc.'s recent pledge to the City of Fresno.
The metal supplier has provided industrial and specialty materials to local businesses since 1993, operating out of a building on North Avenue in Southwest Fresno.
Now, a new 163,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution facility will be located near the intersection of Peach and McKinley Avenues.
