LODI, Calif. —

Lodi City Council members will meet Wednesday to discuss spending $110,000 to repair vandalism at Salas Park on South Stockton Street.

The city says vandalism at the park is increasing "drastically," with fencing between some railroad tracks and the park being cut, allowing people access when the park is closed.

The restroom facilities have been damaged, there is graffiti to clean up, and an electrical box was stripped of its copper wire. There is also damage to the irrigation lines and sprinkler heads.

Last month, the city locked all the entrances to the park, keeping people from parking. It's in an effort to stop people from sleeping in their RVs and cars overnight.
