OMAHA, Neb. —
One of the seven people charged in a north Omaha shooting took a plea deal.
The incident happened in December 2024.
Investigators said it was a family disturbance that led to the shooting. They alleged one of the teens set up a meeting with one of the victims and then got out of a car, wearing a mask and carrying metal bats and a gun.

Eh Khu, Pah Lar, Say Paw , Phyit Aung, Naydu Sarku, Rational Htoo, and A Nwet were charged with first-degree assault, among other charges.
PREVIOUS COVERAGE:
On Wednesday, Htoo pleaded no contest to two counts of second-degree assault.
He is set to be sentenced in January 2026.
