Warwick University has issued a statement to its students following a fire at one of its accommodation blocks, after footage emerged on social media of huge flames coming from the top of the building.

A section of the University of Warwick's halls of residence was engulfed in flames on Wednesday night, November 19. The university has confirmed that no injuries were sustained in the blaze, which has since been extinguished.
