OMAHA, Neb. — UND couldn't find a way to close the gap against Creighton Wednesday evening at the CHI Health Center.
The Bluejays shot 1-for-17 from beyond the arc and 33.3% from the field in the second half, keeping the door open for the Fighting Hawks.
But the Hawks only managed to draw back within eight points at best. Creighton kept UND at arm's length down the stretch despite the poor shooting, fending off the visitors for a 75-60 win.
The Hawks dropped to 2-4 with the loss. It was just the second match of a six-game road trip. UND won't be back at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center until Dec. 6.
The Bluejays improved to 3-1, collecting their second win over a Summit League opponent this season. They beat South Dakota 92-76 on Nov. 5.
