Ahead of the completion of a major expansion next year and amid concerns about staffing pressures, Joondalup Health Campus has onboarded a record 48 nurses in a single day.

The group, made up of enrolled nurses and registered nurses with experience in non-hospital settings such as GP clinics and nursing homes, will be closely supervised as they undergo training to transition to the hospital setting.

The intake is part of Ramsay Health Care’s Professionals Pathway Program, designed to attract and support nurses who want to work with more acutely unwell patients.
