ORANGEBURG, S.C. — City officials say they are still waiting on federal reimbursement and may have to use local project funds to keep critical repairs moving.
One of the biggest projects still unfinished is Spray Park, which has been closed for more than a year.
Assistant City Administrator Theresa Williams said the park closed a second time after the November flood and remained shut throughout the summer.
The city is dealing with up to three million dollars in damage from last year’s microburst, two hurricanes, and the historic November flood.
