POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - Across southeast Missouri, an abundance of talent helped make for an incredible year of football in the SEMO Conference. And one senior, still in the postseason, took home the most coveted individual trophy in the area.
Jackson senior Drew Parsons won the Carr Trophy, given to the most outstanding player in the SEMO Conference.
Parsons has had, and is still currently having, his best year as the starting quarterback for the Indians. The team currently sit 11-0 and is the only undefeated team in southeast Missouri and just one of three remaining area teams in the postseason.
