ROBINSON, Texas — The Robinson Rockets are back in the area round of the UIL playoffs for the first time since 2016.
Last Friday, Robinson captured its first playoff victory in seven years, defeating Madisonville 60-41 in a hard-fought, back-and-forth battle.
The Rockets now prepare to face West Orange-Stark, the team that ended Robinson’s 2016 season in the second round.
For head coach Kevin Brown, advancing deep into the playoffs isn’t just a goal — it’s an expectation.
