Texas A&M’s quiet rise in now churning toward a Playoff run

After an 8-5 season in 2024, the Texas A&M Aggies have slowly crept up the ranking and are now in position to be in its first College Football Playoff.

The third-ranked team in the nation led by sophomore quarterback Marcel Reed is hitting all cylinders and are a legit threat. At 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, the explosive passer commands the Aggies offense in a way that resembles that of a former QB who played across the state over a decade ago. Robert Griffin III and Reed are awfully similar. This weekend was more proof toward that argument.
