P. S. Sivakumar , longtime resident of the Mada Streets of Mylapore passed away on November 18. He was 61 years old.
He and his family used to reside first at Ganesh Apartments, North Mada Street and later on East Mada Street near the ‘theradi.
He lived his early life in Kanchipuram, where his father was a state government staff. He did his schooling and college studies in Kanchipuram. He shifted to Chennai for his employment.
Sivakumar worked in the accounting field throughout his life. He also guided and mentored young professionals in companies where he consulted. His family said his life revolved around Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple and he always took part in its rituals and festivals.
He is survived by his wife Mala, daughter Pooja, mother Prema and sister Sowmya.
