A 16-year-old student died by suicide on Tuesday after jumping from the Rajendra Nagar Metro Station in Delhi. Police recovered a suicide note from the site, in which the student alleged that he was being harassed by his school teachers.

He wrote that strict action should be taken against them so that "no other child suffers like him." He also expressed a wish to donate his body to someone in need.

Following the incident, the student's father lodged an FIR against four staff members, including the school principal and coordinator. He alleged that they mentally tortured his son and ignored repeated complaints made by the family.
