INDIANAPOLIS -- Bennedict Mathurin had no chance to catch Collin Sexton unless he hit full speed and hit it fast.
Sexton, the Hornets' backup point guard, saw Pacers' point guard Andrew Nembhard's pass to Mathurin coming so he already had a head of steam going toward the opposite bucket when he got his hand on the ball for a steal above the 3-point line at the top of the key. Mathurin was expecting to catch the pass and drive so his momentum was going toward the opposite basket. If he wanted to stop Sexton from getting a breakaway layup, he had to immediately halt that momentum and turn it around ten fold the other direction.
