Godzilla x Kong: Supernova might be introducing a fan-favorite villain to the MonsterVerse. The MonsterVerse has proven to be one of the most successful shared universes in Hollywood, with the crown jewels of the franchise being 2021's Godzilla vs. Kong and its sequel, 2024's Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. A third film in the trilogy, and sixth film in the overall MonsterVerse franchise, will be Godzilla x Kong: Supernova and is set to open in theaters on Mar. 26, 2027.
