On a cool October evening, a small laundromat tucked off Reynolds Avenue was filled with about a dozen people — but they weren’t doing laundry. They were settling in for a concert.

That night on Oct. 24, Reynolds Laundromat wasn’t a place for washing and drying, but for listening to North Carolina singer-songwriter Ethan Nathaniel share songs and stories. The show was part of a new concert series called Tiny Washer organized by laundromat owners Erin and Jon Carpenter.

For music lovers who enjoy an intimate, relaxed setting, Tiny Washer has another concert scheduled for early next year. Jan. 8, 2026 will feature Baltimore-based singer-songwriter Brody Bond.
