LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A balanced offense helped the No. 21 Cardinals (4-1, 1-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) win their fourth straight game Wednesday night, defeating Morehead State (1-3, 0-0 Ohio Valley Conference) 96-49 at the KFC Yum! Center.
The team scored a season-high 96 points, and all 11 players who entered the game scored against the Eagles. Louisville had seven players score in double figures, the most in a single game since Nov. 16, 2023, when the team had eight players reach double figures against Bellarmine.
Four players tied for a team-lead 13 points: senior forward Laura Ziegler and sophomore guards Imari Berry, Reagan Bender and Tajianna Roberts. Bender's 13 points were a career best; she was also 3 of 4 on 3-point shooting.
